The power of boredom.
One day a few years ago, my son wasn’t allowed on his mobile phone for an afternoon. This is what happened:
He was bored
He was bored and complained about it.
He was even more bored.
He complained even more about his boredom.
He searched for boxes, tape, scissors and more.
He asked if he could use a specific box.
He was making a lot of noice in his bedroom.
After a while, I was invited in, because he proudly wanted to show me the result of his activities.
